Anas bin Malik ibn Nadar al-Khazraji Al-Ansari was a well-known Sahabi (companion) of the Prophet Muhammad (Saw) He was an Ansaar of the Banu Khazraj. His mother was Umm Sulaym bint Milhân and his father was Mâlik ibn al-Nadr. Umm Sulaym was one of the inaugural women to embrace Islam in Madina.
